About Manuela
Hello!
My name is Manuela Gonnermann.
I'm a fully qualified and insured reflexologist, approved by the Association of Reflexologists and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council. I run Sanctuary Reflexology from two clinics in Finchley and Crouch End, and I also offer home visits.
Alongside my private practice, I'm part of a team delivering reflexology to patients at University College Hospital London, ranked among the top ten hospitals in the world. It's been a privilege to see complementary therapies increasingly recognised as a genuine support for patients managing chronic and acute conditions, and before and after surgery.
I first discovered reflexology whilst pregnant with my first child, struggling with back pain and mobility issues on top of a demanding career in the City. My back pain eased after just a single treatment, and I felt the impact on my physical and mental wellbeing almost immediately. That was the start of my reflexology journey that continues today.
In my previous career, I spent many years working in the City and witnessed first-hand, how damaging stress, in all its forms, can be to our physical and mental health. It's that understanding I bring into every treatment room now, and it's genuinely rewarding to see how my clients have benefitted from Reflexology.
My approach
I blend traditional reflexology with current research and advanced training to help clients maintain good health, as well as support those with a wide range of concerns; from chronic pain, tension and mobility issues to stress, sleep, and coping with and recovery from acute and chronic illness or surgery. Some of the specialist areas I've trained in include:
- Orthopedic reflexology, working with the muscle layers, fascia and nerve pathways of the feet to ease physical and mechanical tension linked to issues like scarring, migraines and digestive discomfort
- Reflexology lymphatic drainage, to support circulation and fluid balance
- Reflexology for Pregnancy and Post Partum
- VRT (Vertical Reflexology) and movement-based techniques, widely used to support mobility and older or less mobile clients
- Fascial reflexology, including extremity, intraosseous and periosteal release techniques to restore balance and enhance overall wellbeing.
I studied with leading practitioners and innovators in each of these fields, including figures who've shaped reflexology internationally as well as experts in foot mechanics; training I'm always happy to talk through with clients who want to know more.

Reflexology is a wonderful complementary therapy, a way to support your body to maintain good health, calm an overactive mind, and support recovery from illness or stress.
My approach is intuitive and holistic, and every session is shaped around what you need that day. At Sanctuary Reflexology I offer you a private space to help you restore your physical and emotional balance.

Tuesdays 5pm - 7.30pm
Wednesdays 10.00am - 7.00pm
Thursdays 11: 00 - 7.30pm
Fridays 11am - 7pm
Saturdays 11am to 6pm
Sunday (Crouch End only) 12:00 - 3pm
LOCATION
I practice from 2 professional locations in London, Crouch End N8 and Finchley N12. Both clinics are easily accessible by car or public transport. If you are driving there is off street parking in Finchley and ample street parking near the clinic in Crouch End (please check local restrictions).
