"The human foot is a masterpiece of engineering and a work of art."
(Leonardo da Vinci)
Reflexology is a natural non-invasive therapy that will support your physical, mental, and emotional health. Based on the principle that reflex points on the feet correspond with different regions of the body, by working the feet we are able to reach treatments support the body’s own natural healing processes to achieve optimum health. Each foot has 26 bones, 33 joints and over 15000 nerve endings.
Our feet are often an overlooked hero, they play a crucial role in how we function, supporting us when we are standing, helping with balance and posture, stability and support, movement and energy transfer, shock absorption and circulation.
Even the slightest restriction or dysfunction in the feet will affect the body and vice versa. By applying pressure to points on the feet and lower leg, we are able to communicate to the body system in a unique way. Reflexology can help improve the energy flow and circulation, in the body, reduce inflammation, reduce the impact of muscular and skeletal pain, improve the body's response to stress, improve sleep and promote a state of relaxation and balance. When your body is truly balanced, you give your body and mind the best chance to recover from illness or stress.
I have worked with people suffering from all kinds of stress including those with chronic health conditions or suffering from anxiety, addiction, bereavement, unresolved pain, as well as those with extremely busy lives who just want a way to escape the heavy demands of their job or life commitments. I also support women throughout their hormonal journey from puberty to pregnancy, post-partum, perimenopause, menopause and beyond.
For those seeking support with stress related conditions, reflexology can be an excellent solution. Sessions are designed to leave you feeling deeply restored and calm.
Regular reflexology sessions provide a dedicated space for rest and rejuvenation, helping to cultivate greater physical and emotional harmony. If you are looking for a natural, holistic approach to supporting your health and well-being, I invite you to experience the benefits of reflexology for yourself.
As an alternative to foot reflexology, I offer hand reflexology and face reflexology or a combination of any.
Facial reflexology is a highly effective treatment whose intention is to support the body’s own natural healing process, releasing tensions in the face, reducing stress and anxiety and increasing muscle tone in the face. My clients have reported after this treatment, that they feel spiritually lifted, extremely relaxed, energised and invigorated and the condition of their skin has improved.
In this treatment, I use an uplifting and gentle Elixir Serum which is infused with Amethyst Crystal, White Poppy Seed Oil and Native American Healing Herbs.
Our Facial Reflexology treatment draws on a combination of Native American techniques, Indian Head Massage and Asian body maps. It is based on the only facial reflexology method created by Ziggie Bergmann, based on “Zone Therapy” which is used in foot and hand reflexology and was created by Dr William Fitzgerald.
Working the face can be extremely powerful and effective as the face holds many stories of an individual’s emotional past and present. This treatment awakens facial nerves, muscles and tissues, which in turn helps release emotional and physical tension and can be super effective for supporting people with TMJ disorders including bruxism, by alleviating pain and stiffness, enhancing mobility of the jaw and relieving neck pain and tension headaches.
I offer a programme of specialist treatments specifically focussed on supporting women throughout their hormonal journey. These treatments are uplifting, helping you to deepen your connection with your body, and achieve a sense of overall wellbeing and balance.
I have experience supporting clients with UTIs, amenorrhea, oligomenorrhea, endometriosis, PCOS, dysmenorrhea, metrorrhagia as well as menopausal symptoms. Each session takes into consideration your current state of health, your goals and lifestyle; with the aim of achieving an effective and long lasting outcome.
The menopause programme is suitable for clients who are perimenopausal or menopausal and looking to find a way to achieve balance. It is also suitable for those who choose to take HRT as well as those who don’t. Studies have proven that reflexology is effective in treating women with menopausal symptoms such as depression and hot flushes. You can read more about this on my Research page.
For many of my clients reflexology offers significant relief. Effective reflexology can calm the nervous system, reduces tension, improves curculation and supports pain relief, fostering an enviornment of optimal health mother and baby throughout the pregnancy and after the birth.
Anxiety is a common experience during pregnancy, often stemming from worries about the health of both mother and baby, adapting to physical changes, dealing with fatigue and poor sleep, and balancing work with low energy levels. The fear of going into labour, concerns about breastfeeding, concerns about what happens after the baby is born can all contribute to heightened stress. Ongoing anxiety can intensify many of the physical discomforts of pregnancy, including fatigue, insomnia, swollen limbs, nausea, digestive issues, heartburn, and pelvic or back pain.
Postpartum reflexology is also beneficial in many ways for new mothers. Reflexology can help improve the quality of sleep, reduce anxiety as well as stimulate the lymphatics helping the body eliminate excess fluid that was stored in preparation for birth. It also supports improved blood circulation, which is especially important for recovery after delivery, including post-operative healing. I also provide all my maternity clients, tips on self care and how to give gentle reflexology to your new born baby.
Reflexology does not replace traditional medicine and you should always consult your GP or midwife if you have any medical concerns.
Offering Reflexology in the workplace is a great way for an employer to demonstrate their commitment to employee health. Studies have shown that Reflexology workshops can improve general staff wellbeing and as a result, contribute towards a reduction in absenteeism and an increase in employee satisfaction.
I can arrange a tailor-made package to suit your work environment, your employees and your company, offering 20-minute hand or foot reflexology sessions. All you would need to provide is a quiet private space for treatments. The recipient would remain fully clothed throughout the session.

Reflexology can be extremely effective in treating patients in care and nursing home settings, helping them feel better and improving their quality of life. Treatments are gentle, non-invasive, have no serious adverse side effects, and can be embedded into existing care plans. With reflexology, the hands and feet are gently stimulated to trigger a self-healing response in specific parts of the body. The body has an immense capacity for healing, given the right support and impetus..
The reflexology treatment can be conducted on the hands or feet, with the patient sitting or reclining in different positions depending on their needs and preferences. There is no requirement to remove clothing, apart from shoes and socks if reflexology is conducted on the feet. Each treatment generally lasts between 20-and 60 minutes based on individual preference and circumstance.
As a member of the AOR (Association of Reflexology) and CHNC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council) you can be sure treatments adhere to professional standards. I would only treat patients with full knowledge and understanding of their medical history and medication, as well as an understanding of their mental, physical, and emotional health. Any findings as a result of the treatment would always be fed back to the relevant professional.
Patients can also be shown a number of self-help applications that they can do on their own hands, which will give them the tools to help ease any specific pain they might have or to help them sleep.
